ALL ABOUT PETERS CEMETERY
105 years ago the last person was buried in Peters Cemetery. There are approximately 70 people resting here and this website is dedicated to the deceased and their families.
The cemetery is abandoned and it is difficult to visit. You will need to wear long pants, boots, long sleeve shirts, and a hat no matter the season we are in. Bug spray is highly suggested. If you would like a tour or to visit family at Peters Cemetery, use the contact page or reach out to the Madison County Historical Society.

My name is Patty Werner and I live near the cemetery. I am the author of this website and have been volunteering to give tours, take photos for families, and document history.
